The first installment of the new “Star Wars” spinoffs, “Attack of the Clones” and “Rebels” is set to hit theaters on March 17.
But that isn’t all: The first of the “Star Trek” spinoff movies is also set to open on March 10.
The first Star Trek spinoff movie has also been confirmed as the latest installment of Paramount’s “StarWars” franchise.
Star Trek: Attack of the Clone Clones is the latest of the spinoff “Star wars” movies to be announced.
It is the first of three Star Trek movies to come out of Paramount and Lucasfilm’s Star Wars: The Clone Wars brand.
It was created by David Ellison, who previously worked on “The Clone Wars,” “TNG: The Next Generation” and other Star Trek shows.
The movie stars Jason Isaacs as the lead character, a bounty hunter who discovers a mysterious, dark entity known as the “Clone,” who threatens to destroy the galaxy.
Isaacs plays the role of Clone Master, a figurehead who leads Clone commandos to the mysterious location of the cloned entity.
The film also stars the return of John Boyega as Commander Cody, a clone who has been brainwashed by the mysterious “Cloner.”
Star Trek Attack of Clones, a follow-up to “Star Clones,” will be the first in the “The Force Awakens” spin-off series.
The “Force Awakens” movie is set for release on Dec. 18, 2019, but it has yet to be officially announced.
Star Wars: Rebels is the fourth installment in the Star Wars saga.
The third installment in this series, “The Old Republic” is also due out on Dec:18.
The movie is scheduled to star Diego Luna as Commander Cassian Andor, a Jedi Master who has become embroiled in the ongoing civil war in the galaxy’s far-off Outer Rim Territories.
Star Wars Rebels is being written by Kurtis J. Weitz, who wrote “Rogue One” and directed the original “Star War” trilogy.
The next film in the series, which is set before the events of “Rogue” and follows Darth Maul, will be released on Dec 19, 2020.
It will be directed by Jon Favreau and stars Ben Mendelsohn as Maul, and Carrie Fisher as Mara Jade Skywalker.
Star Trek: Rebels was released on May 17, 2021.
