In the early 90s, Brazilian press owner and publisher Maurizio Cardi was selling newspapers to pay for his children’s college education.

When the Brazilian media industry was still in its infancy, he began selling papers on the side to supplement his income.

But it wasn’t long before Cardi realized he was on a different path.

“I realized I was no longer a journalist, I was a cardi b b press,” Cardi told The Huffington
